King West on tour: the 5-minute walk every event guest should take

Hotels, parking, transit, late-night food — what to do with your guests once the bar closes.

The four-hotel walk

Your out-of-town guests want one thing: a hotel they can stumble back to. Inside 350 metres of 485 King West you have Bisha, Thompson, 1 Hotel, and the SoHo Met. We have wedding-block rates with most of them — ask the events team.

Where to send them after

If the after-party at Pablo’s isn’t enough, walk them west to The Drake or east to Buca. Or skip the cab queue altogether and take the streetcar — it stops on the corner and runs all night.

Where the photos happen

The corner of King and Spadina at sundown is the best free photo backdrop in downtown Toronto. The CN Tower is just over your shoulder. We’ve had wedding parties walk a block for that shot more times than we can count.
